Three witnesses, one description. Detectives say they will know the shoes.

Shortly after 23:00 a four-person crew emptied the register at a corner store on Old Market and was gone before the first patrol car turned the block. Every witness agreed on one detail: a red jacket.
This is Street Memory at work. Citizens who see a crime file what they saw, and descriptions travel. The crew changed coats within the hour, but a witness at the subway gate logged the same shoes.
Detectives have opened a casefile. The Pressure Index is up two points across the district, which means street prices for hot goods just went up with it.
