Get in the city
Three steps to Flux City.
No whitelist, no application wall. Show up, get a city name, and the Guide will take it from there.
Step 01
Own Garry's Mod
Flux Life runs on Garry's Mod (Steam). If you've got it, you're most of the way there.
Step 02
Connect
Copy the connect command, open the in-game console with the ~ key, paste and press Enter. Content downloads automatically on first join.
Step 03
Survive the first night
The Guide meets you on the platform at Central Station. Register at City Hall, grab a meal, pick up a job. You'll be in a real scene within the hour.
Is it free?
Yes. Flux Life is free to play. Patron cosmetics are optional and never affect money, XP or gear.
Do I need to download content packs?
The server sends what you need automatically when you connect. First join takes a little longer.
I'm new to serious roleplay. Will I get destroyed?
Not on our watch. New citizens get a guided first night and a new-arrival tag, and staff watch new players closely in the first days.
Can I join the police on day one?
You can start as City Patrol right away. Detective and senior ranks are earned through your Service Record.
Where do I appeal a ban?
Through your citizen portal. Every punishment is also listed on the public justice log.
